How to use Nu Skin 180° AHA Facial Peel and Neutraliser
Use three times a week after cleansing and toning.
When used as part of the Nu Skin 180° System, it replaces Cell Renewal Fluid on the days you use the peel.
STEP 1 – AHA Facial Peel
- Cleanse and tone your face and neck.
- Gently swipe one AHA Facial Peel pad over the face and neck.
- Avoid the eye area.
- Allow the solution to remain on the skin for no more than 10 minutes.
STEP 2 – AHA Facial Peel Neutraliser
- Gently swipe one AHA Facial Peel Neutraliser pad over the face and neck.
- Do not rinse.
- Follow with a suitable moisturiser.
- During the daytime, use appropriate sun protection.
Is a slight stinging sensation normal?
A mild stinging or tingling sensation may occur during application.
Nu Skin notes that mild stinging can be normal.
However, if irritation persists, rinse your face with warm water and discontinue use until the skin feels comfortable again.
AHAs and sun protection
Exfoliating acids can make the skin more sensitive to the effects of sunlight.
For this reason, daily SPF protection is particularly important while using an AHA peel.
After the treatment, follow with an appropriate moisturiser and avoid unnecessary intense sun exposure.
Can AHA Facial Peel be used every day?
No.
Nu Skin recommends using the product three times a week.
It is not intended for daily exfoliation.
Using the product more frequently than recommended does not necessarily provide better results and may increase the likelihood of irritation.
Should the peel be rinsed off after 10 minutes?
No.
After leaving step one on the skin for no more than 10 minutes, do not immediately rinse it off with water.
Instead, use the second pad – AHA Facial Peel Neutraliser – and gently swipe it over the face and neck.
After applying the Neutraliser, do not rinse and continue with your moisturiser.
Can AHA Facial Peel be combined with other exfoliating products?
Because AHA Facial Peel contains a 10% lactic acid solution, it is best to avoid unnecessarily combining several intensive exfoliating products within the same routine.
On the days you use the peel, keep your routine simple:
cleanse → tone → AHA Facial Peel → Neutraliser → moisturiser
During the daytime, always follow with SPF.
